Hi all!

With Version 1.4 of the DM Helper, we added support for animated maps, taking a big feature step forward. Unfortunately, to get things done and delivered, we also had to prioritize releasing something solid quickly versus across all platforms. Sadly, this meant that Windows got priority over MacOS and we did not release a MacOS version supporting animated maps and video playback. Even worse, this means that all our Mac users did not get all of the other improvements, bug-fixes or new features (e.g. DnD Beyond import) that have come along with v1.4 and v1.5.

So, for all Mac users out there, today I have some very good news: Mac is Back! We now have an engineering  pre-release v1.6 which we are initially testing now and which we will release more broadly in the coming weeks. Personally, I'm really excited to get back to our full platform support and promise you we won't deviate from this for any features planned in the immediate roadmap!
