New features coming... including Spells!

Hi all,

I thought I would give you an update of everything that has happened since v2.0 came out. I've been busy working through a long list of usability and coolness features and fixes that had been piling up while we were working towards the big UI rework - I'm pretty excited about these things, so I thought now would be a good time to share a bit more about what's coming!

Conditions: you can now apply conditions to anybody in a combat. They are shown on the DM's view in detail and also on the on-deck icon seen by the players. Not yet quite as cool as putting a plastic ring on a mini, but a good step!

Spells: I've added a Spellbook, which is similar to the Bestiary. It's a useful reference, but even more importantly you can pre-select a shape and icon for a spell and then in combat one-click Cast Spell to add the spell effect easily! And then don't forget you can apply an effect to everybody it touches to easily handle mass damage - this is really useful when your wizard lobs a fireball into a group of goblins.

Soundboard: Here it comes! Link straight out of the DM Helper to local sound files, Youtube sounds or Syrinscape to control and mix your sounds. You can set them up however it suits you in groups for rapid access.

Player's Window: For those of you with monitors in your desks, players can now use a touchscreen or a shared mouse to move their tokens in the Player's Window! Also, by popular demand, the icons on the Player Window (selected creature, frame for on-deck and countdown) are skinnable.

There's a bunch of smaller changes, crashes and other bugs fixed along the way, of course.

I hope you can get as excited about this next release as I am!

Happy Gaming!!

WOW. This sounds like a big step. All of these things will go a long way towards making DMHelper the only choice!

Thank you!!! That's the plan - take over the world...
